At Christ Lutheran, we take seriously our mission to serve in Christ's name.  We feed the hungry. we clothe the poor, we collect eyeglasses and sweaters for the Guideposts sweater project, we participate in the 30-Hour famine, we partner with Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, we collect blood. . . . the list goes on and on.

But these are only the start of the story.  We are called by Christ to be sent into the world, to serve in his name.  Our vocations as student, homemaker, worker, friend - we are to be "little Christs" each day in our vocation, serving others in his name.
