The goal of youth ministry at Christ Lutheran is to make Christ known to our young people and to encourage them as disciples of Christ. Unlike youth programs of the past, our youth ministry recognizes that the home is the primary place for passing on the faith. Our ministry to young people is a partnership with parents that encourages young people to be integral parts of the body of Christ in this place.
Photos shown below are of our delegation to the July 2009 National Youth Gathering mission trip held in New Orleans, LA.
PowerPoint Presentation of New Orleans TripThis presentation was prepared by Emily Wonder and Kayla Rote, two of our youth that participated in the Youth Gathering mission trip to New Orleans in July 2009. This was presented to the congregation during worship on August 2nd, coupled with spoken comments by several of the participants.
You must have Power Point to view this presentation. The file is large so may take a while to access.
