The goal of youth ministry at Christ Lutheran is to make Christ known to our young people and to encourage them as disciples of Christ. Unlike youth programs of the past, our youth ministry recognizes that the home is the primary place for passing on the faith. Our ministry to young people is a partnership with parents that encourages young people to be integral parts of the body of Christ in this place.
Youth - Grades 7-8
For our younger youth who are in junior high, our primary focus for ministry is our CrossWalk Wednesdays program. The program is intergenerational, providing learning and growth for elementary, junior high, high school, and adults. In this program, junior high age youth and their parents share an experience of growth. Check this link for more information. CrossWalk is part of the process of prearing for confirmation. Learn more on our confirmation page.
Youth - Grades 9-12
As youth become adults, the role of the church and faith is essential. At CLC, our senior high youth participates in CrossRoads. This group gatrhers on Sundays, Wednesday evenings and throughout the year for service and freindship. Check this link for the scoop.
