In February 2008, Christ Lutheran Church and Holy Cross Church - Melpattumbakkum, Tamil Nadu, India became Companion congregations, committed to a relationship of mutual prayer, learning, fellowship and support.  Holy Cross is a congregation of the Arcot Lutheran Church, Tamil Nadu, South India.
