 | Hurricanes, earthquakes, and other disasters are a devastating fact of life. They can leave thousands grieving the loss of loved ones, even more struggling to recover from injuries. In the aftermath of such disasters, survivors scramble to not only rebuild their lives, but simply to find the necessities of daily life like food and water. In these times, the ELCA, as a church and in partnership with other denominations and agencies arrives to meet the human needs, to serve as Christ served, and to help all of us lend a hand.
