Christ Lutheran Church On-Line - CrossWalk Wednesdays

Whoever says, "I abide in him," ought to walk just as he walked.” (1 John 2:6)

The author of First John reminds us faith is a way of life, a way of living that plots a course by stepping in the footprints left by our Lord. When we live as if faith is just a part of life, competing with many other things, we lose sight of the truth that faith is what makes all the rest of life possible.

Walking just as Jesus walked is to choose a path of discipleship that leads us into the gracious future of God. Walking this path invariably leads us to points of intersection where our faith walk meets daily life. These intersections can sometimes be difficult to navigate, especially if we take our eyes off the cross, the one who leads us.

CrossWalk helps us learn how to cross the intersections of life. CrossWalk helps children learn the faith and helps parents grow. CrossWalk gives adults an opportunity to continue their journey. CrossWalk is for everyone. To register click here.

Each Wednesday evening, from October through April, Christ Lutheran Church takes a CrossWalk. This multi-generational program of faith formation and discipleship meets from 6:00—7:30 PM.

1st—6th Graders—Gather for music, stories, and activities that build friendships and faith.

7th—8th Graders—Gather for learning that focuses on living faithfully in a complicated world.

Senior High—Gather for mutual conversation and support as they grow in discipleship.

Adults—Gather for learning about the Christian faith, encouragement in faith practices, and support in raising children in the faith.

Worship—Each Wednesday all gather for a service of Evening Prayer at 7:05 pm.
