The kids are out of school soon and won’t have access to school libraries.  There is a cost to those who live in Poplar Grove and other areas outside the city of Belvidere for the privilege of using the public libraries.  We all know that kids need to keep reading and many of them love to do this activity.  What’s the answer?  BOOK SHARE.

Book Share is offered by LifeLIGHT Ministries.  We are located in Countryside Square.  The selection is much smaller than a library but is always revolving with different titles.  The biggest reasons to take advantage of Book Share are:

· No costs and no cards

· No fines, due dates, or renewals necessary

· Like the book?  Keep it.

Here’s how Book Share works:

We operate on the Bring a Book, Take a Book method.  You drop one off and take one home.  And if you don’t bring in a book to share you are still welcome to take a book.  When finished reading it you can bring it back in exchange for another, pass it on to a friend, or keep it to read again.  Book Share isn’t just for kids.  We also have titles for adults.

Currently our hours are M,W,F, 9:00 a.m.—12 noon and Tuesday 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
